Those who raise their voices against the governmentcould be registered with a case of sedition: Kiren Rijiju

The Law Commission is reviewing the Sedition Act and the Home Ministry to report to him on this matter as soon as possible. The Home Minister said in the Rajya Sabha Kiren Rijiju. Rijiju also admitted in the RajyaSabha that he has often found in cases of treason that freedom of speech has been violated.
Rijiju said the some reports of commissions were associated with the current review of treason has been suggested but it is said not to remove it. These reports also recommended a comprehensive review of the criminal justice system. Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Law and Justice itself also asked to review it.
Home Minister Rajnath Singh, the Law Commission's report on the law after all-party meeting convened to discuss the issue. The government, however, rejected the opposition's allegation that he is using the law indiscriminately. In addition to government JNU case of sedition cases were registered outside Delhi.
