BhartiAirtel said on Thursday that they will acquire spectrumof
Videocon Telecom worth 4,428 crore in six circles. Government has allowed partnership
between telecommunications companies to allow spectrum trading after the second
deal.
The company said in a regulatory filing to the stock
exchange, "said Videocon Telecommunications Ltd. with BhartiAirtel for Rs
4,428 crore, 2 times 5 MHz in the 1,800 MHz band using the right decision to
buy is compromised."
Six circles including Bihar, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar
Pradesh (East), Uttar Pradesh (West) and Gujarat. The validity period of the
spectrum in these circles is until December 18, 2032.
