In Punjab, the young man riding a bike on Wednesday, threw
acid on 14-year-old girl. Because of which she and five other students with him
were injured. SSP Diljinder said The victim is almost 18 per cent burn injuries
and one side of his face and arm has been greatly affected. He has been
admitted to a hospital in Amritsar. She was returning home from school with
five other friends, one of the two men aboard the bike allegedly threw acid on
her. Police have registered a case and started investigation. According to the
complaint, a student in the 8th class at school upset and complained against
the accused boy. After which he was expelled from school. Similar to avenge the
boy threw acid on girl. Dhillon said that her fellow students have also been
minor burns. The accused has been identified as 19-year-old gentleman, and he
hails from Amritsar Furewal. Police have registered a case and started
investigation.
