Indian opener Rohit Sharma got injured on Saturday against
Pakistan in the Asia Cup match by the pace man Mohammad Aamir who gave him a
left toe injury after precautionary X-rays of his thumb and now it seems doubtful ahead of Asia Cup.
The first ball of India's 84-run chase against Pakistan landed
to Sharma by left-arm fast bowler Mohammad Aamer which ended up with an injury
on Sharma’s toe. On the next ball Aamer threw a full length in swinger angle
inwards which Rohit could not understand what was coming and was given out lbw.
However, India won the match by five wickets. The next match
will be on Tuesday from Sri Lanka but it seems doubtful for India's Rohit to
make a place in the playing eleven. It is believed that Rohit's toe injury is
not much but he is still having some trouble in walking.
