Perera became the world's fourth bowler, who took a T-20 hat-trick

Medium pacer ThisaraPerera of Sri Lankabecame the world's fourth bowlerwith a hat-trick on Friday's second Twenty20 match against India in international Twenty20 cricket.

This hat-trick was taken at Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) international stadium in India. Sri Lanka in the second match of the three-match series, Sri Lankan Twenty -20 Perera three successive balls in the 19th over of the Indian innings HardickPandya, Suresh Raina and Yuvraj dismissed Bsh achieved a hat-trick.

In 2007-08, Australian pacer Brett Lee took a hat-trick in the first 20 match and all the credits were earned. Bangladesh’sShakib Al Hasan against Lee, M. Mortaza and AlokKapali had a hat-trick of the wicket. Jacob Oram of New Zealand, followed by Sri Lanka in Colombo in 2009, Eddie Mathews, CMBdaraand K kulsekhara wickets took credit for the hat trick.
