Sreesanth joined the BJP, to contest assembly elections in Kerala

The party for the forthcoming assembly elections in Kerala declared 50 other candidates.On Friday Indian pacer S Sreesanth fielding Thiruvananthapuram constituency declared.

Approximately four hours after a meeting of the party's Central Election Committee, the CEC announced that Sreesanth formally joined the party and will contest from Thiruvananthapuram constituency.

Sreesanth, 33, said in a press conference that the match-fixing court exonerated him and in regard to the dispute over the opposition are not concerned about any attack.

Although Delhi court dropped the charges against him last year but the BCCI has banned him from playing any cricket.
