Nepal tribute to those killed in the earthquake

Kathmandu. Nepal's devastating earthquake a year ago on Sunday paid tribute to those killed. Citizens also came to pay homage to the departed ones and he missed lighting candles and prayed for their souls.


Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli Sunday morning Kathmandu Dharahra drove there to pay tribute to those killed in the earthquake. In Nepal, the 7.6-magnitude earthquake on April 25 last year, nine thousand people were killed and 22 thousand people were injured. Meanwhile, the slow pace of reconstruction after the earthquake resistance of people protested in front of the Singha Durbar in Kathmandu and demanded accountability of national reconstruction authority. So far, only seven thousand people are to be given new houses.
