Srinagar-Baramulla national highway in a road accident that
killed a senior army officer's wife were injured, while a CRPF Assistant
Commandant. A police officer said here in a village 27 km away from the port
Tahapar private cab driver lost control of the vehicle because it was traveling
Vandana (35) died on the spot.
He said the incident occurred at around seven o'clock on 45
minutes. The deceased commanding officer of the Army's 21 Secrets Raifls was
the wife of Colonel Saurabh. The official vehicle of CRPF Assistant Commandant
Manish Kumar were traveling.
He was injured and has been admitted to hospital. He's
Chaukibal Shaikh Rafiq Ahmed, who was driving the vehicle escaped unhurt in the
accident. This vehicle is going to Srinagar from north Kashmir's Kupwara
district.
