Gatlin, Bolt broke the record, but is not recognized

American sprinter Justin Gatlin's 100 meters, beating Jamaica's Usain Bolt completed a record 9.45 seconds. Gatlin could not get official recognition of the record. Bolt on the racing track and the long-running rivalry between Gatlin.

Japan 34-year-old Gatlin said during a television program, taking 9.45 seconds behind Bolt's record. Berlin Bolt set the 100 meters world record of 9.58 seconds was made.

Gatlin wind machine used during the making of the wind speed of 20 mph was leaving. It was more than four times the normal speed. According to the rules, if the wind speed is higher than normal is not considered an official record.
